The Costello Music School was founded in 2019 by Lucy Falzon and was created to collate all aspects of her teaching including her 1-1 tuition, educational resources and classroom teaching.  With over 15 years experience in education, Lucy was both a Head of Year and Head of Music in secondary schools around London and Essex.  She discovered early in her career the disparity between students education in music from primary school to secondary and most recently has been working to develop a consistent teaching method to give every child the opportunities to learn and study music.  She was awarded her BMus from the Univeristy of Birmingham and received her Post Graduate Certificate in Education from Goldsmiths, University of London. She is also holds carious other teaching qualifications, including training in Arts Awards and leadership.  She is DBS checked and teaches private singing, theory and musicianship classes (including GCSE and A Level).  She also runs summer workshops, works with schools to create well rounded curriculums and offers teaching resources via the TES.  Lucy has a full understanding of the anatomy of the voice and how important it is to use it properly.  She also teaches adults classes including 1-1 voice coaching and can provide CPD on a larger scale to support teachers on using the voice correctly in the classroom.  If you think Lucy could help you feel free to contact her using the contact form to the right or click on the links above to book lessons online or view resources for schools.
